Summary:
The agony of Katnis is not over even as she scrapes out alive of the various games that the Capitol played to defeat her to death. The life of Katnis Everdeen has been taken for a toss as the Capitol targets her for the reasons of sedition. And Katnis is not alone and she has managed to get the people of her district into the danger zone as they seek revenge at all cost and they don't care about the bloodshed that it will ensue. They want to exterminate the retaliation from the roots and want to destroy Katnis and her family. The President has declared that none of them are safe and all have to pay the price for the debacle, and the ominous declaration will push Katnis harder to search the unexplored for answer as she will have to really drag the courage that lies within her.
The tyranny of the conflicts will drag her through various degrees of painful emotions to make her realize that the authority of a corrupt governance can penetrate the hearts and soul of the once sane and can turn them in to a traitor. The life of Katnis is tested very well and far enough to keep her aware and collecting her opportunities as they come, but how well can she combat the might of the Capitol that is set to use all its might in order to bring the propagators of the uprising. Katnis will have to rise out of her best shot to get through this one. Suzanne Collins in Mockingjay captures Katnis in her final move to deliver or be delivered.
Review:
The battle is out in the open and the anticipations of the readers are greeted well and then the ride becomes more hostile for Everdeen family as they don't have a clue about the turn things are going to take and they are ready for the worse as they Capitol has declared an open war against Katnis and her family and the District at large. The efforts of Katnis is awe inspiring as it moves through intense moments of self discovery and acceptance of the circumstances and her urge to rise above what is holding her down. The book describes the state of the dark always with the bright on its side. The life of Katnis goes through a vulnerable and a disposition mutilating phase of adulthood and the readers can relate to her in a sphere that lies within themselves. Mockingjay is a book that is a curtain call on the Hunger Games series and proves.
The book promises to reveal all the secrets that were contained and shows it all to bring the pieces together and it is an ending that awaits the readers with its ability to dysfunction presumptions. Suzanne Collins has done her job as the book is the sunset of the series.
