Horn OK Please - HOPping To Conclusions is not for people who have their intentions fixed at attaining mediocrity through mediocre means, this book is for those who have or at least aspire to have an attitude to look beyond the mundane. The author sets forth the theme of the book as disparaging the status-quo as he challenges the societal foundations of the country he feels for.
The author cloaks the preachy aspect of the story in to a more in your face narrations of incidences. The experience of the regions and people that inhibit them can be lived through in absentia, the narrations being that gripping. The author takes on the state of affairs of the country and its effect on masses with a no-holds-barred tongue in cheek approach. The author rips apart the banality of the 'system' that we share and co-exist in, and no, he doesn't stop at that, he also points to the light at the end of the tunnel as he tends to show the way ahead, underlining the power we behold in making the 'system' what it is.
The author is a self-proclaimed moron who defies logic at will and gets away with it as he lets the heart take control. Through insanity the author tries to coagulate sanity and presents it in a way so as to make the reader's denials fail. The book is like a fulcrum for your awareness and has some deep and profound spiritual implications topped with nakedness of soul. The author leaves no stone unturned in demonstrating change as the only stable element in life. 50% of the revenue from the sales goes to a Tibetan village in Ladakh and an organization that promotes welfare in Chennai known as the Mahesh Memorial Trust. The philanthropic activity of the author speaks volumes about his persona and gives you a piece of his mind even before you buy the book.
